In fact, every room on Montello Street is a page in our catalog. The kitchen is the most assorted page. For this room we made a simple linear top, a linear top with sink and stove hole, and a monolithic central island. The island is the heart of the project, it is the star of the space. It has a special feature: the ground support elements were arranged to be self-supporting and independent of the wooden furniture. It means that if the wooden furniture were to be removed tomorrow, the top would still stand.
From the heart of the project, we turn to a detail that makes the difference through the dialogue between concrete and light. It is a dialogue born of Michela Ciucuto's intuition. She designed the vertical element of the kitchen countertop that accommodates a led strip. We realized her idea. The result? An atmosphere involving the kitchen countertop and splash guard, also in Gfrc concrete, the sink and the faucet, in black. And here's how, inside a white kitchen, a play of shadows makes everything even more textural and three-dimensional.
