The Ladder of Time It is inside a villa in Florence. Ad magazine dedicated its cover to it. The staircase is made of Gfrc concrete and was made by Cemento Line.
The client liked the idea because it totally suited their structural, functional but most of all AESTHETIC desires. In this case, in addition to the convenience of producing everything in the laboratory and installing it on site, they were producing a single concrete piece and not an industrial product. The monolithic concrete landings simulated cast-in-place concrete at best but had a very textural appearance that approached a natural stone. They liked the samples right away and we proceeded with site planning.
